WINNIPEG - Blues captain Alex Pietrangelo has been activated from injured reserve and can return to the lineup Sunday when his club meets the Winnipeg Jets at Bell MTS Place.

Pietrangelo left a 6-1 win against Detroit on Dec. 9 with a lower-body injury in the first period, but he would later return and finish the game. On Dec. 10, Blues Head Coach Mike Yeo announced Pietrangelo wouldn't play against the Buffalo Sabres and was considered day-to-day.
He was placed on injured reserve on Dec. 12 and has missed four games.
Pietrangelo shares third among all NHL defensemen in goals this season (7) and ranks eighth overall among defensemen in points. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound defenseman has accumulated 326 points (72 goals, 254 assists) in 569 career regular season games.
