BLUES VS. KINGS

TEAM SNAPSHOTS

BLUES The Blues trailed 3-0 and 4-1 but rallied back to tie the game with a four-goal second period on Saturday against the San Jose Sharks, but it wasn't enough.
Logan Couture scored the lone goal in the third period to seal a 5-4 win for San Jose.
"We did a great job of coming back in the second, we had a lot of momentum going our way, and it's tough," Jordan Kyrou - who scored in the second period - said. "We've just got to be a little more solid defensively. We can't give up some of those goals."
"We definitely scored enough to win the game, but too many mistakes defensively," Blues Head Coach Craig Berube said after the game. "We've just got to tighten that up. Got to be better."
The Blues are battling a significant amount of injuries and played Saturday without Jaden Schwartz, Tyler Bozak, Robert Thomas, Vladimir Tarasenko, Ivan Barbashev, Sammy Blais and Colton Parayko.
