UPDATE: Pavel Buchnevich will miss Wednesday's game with a non-COVID related illness.
For weeks, these projected lineups at stlouisblues.com have highlighted just how shorthanded the St. Louis Blues have been - whether it's because of injuries, positive COVID-19 tests or salary cap roster limitations.
But this time, we're here to tell you that some reinforcements have arrived.

When the schedule resumes on Wednesday night against the Edmonton Oilers at 7:30 p.m. (BSMW, 101 ESPN), the Blues will have at least three players making their return to the lineup.
Blues Head Coach Craig Berube said David Perron (upper-body), Robert Thomas (lower-body) and Jordan Kyrou (upper-body) will all return when the Blues host Edmonton on Wednesday.
Perron will be playing in his first game since being injured on Nov. 26 in Chicago, Thomas last played on Dec. 4 in Florida and Kyrou missed four games.
Oskar Sundqvist, who was activated from COVID-19 protocols on Tuesday, practiced but will not be in the lineup against Edmonton. Berube said the team would recall a player from the Springfield Thunderbirds and a decision about who will play in Sundqvist's spot will be made at gametime.
Brayden Schenn, who has been out since Dec. 12, is not expected to return Wednesday.
Below is a projected lineup based on pregame warm-ups:
