ST. LOUIS - To deal with several key injuries, Blues Head Coach Craig Berube will have to shake up the lines for Wednesday's matchup against the Edmonton Oilers (7 p.m., NBCSN, KMOX).

"(Zach) Sanford and (Ryan) O'Reilly have played together before and had good success. We've got a good playmaker with them in Robert Thomas," Berube said of his first line.
"(Brayden) Schenn and (David) Perron, they've been playing together quite a bit. (We) just put some speed there with (Jordan) Kyrou," Berube added of the second line.
And… "(Vladimir) Tarasenko with (Tyler) Bozak and (Pat) Maroon. 'Bozie' is a good rush player, he can get some shots off the rush for Vladi and big Pat Maroon going to the net and being around the net."
The fourth line figures to include Jordan Nolan alongside Ivan Barbashev and Oskar Sundqvist. Nolan will be making his Blues regular-season debut after joining the team in the offseason. He was part of Los Angeles Kings teams that won two Stanley Cups (2012, 2014) and has demonstrated that he isn't afraid to mix things up.
Without Alex Pietrangelo, Chris Butler will come into the lineup and will likely join Jay Bouwmeester on the third pairing.
Jaden Schwartz, Alexander Steen and Carl Gunnarsson practiced Wednesday, a good indication that all three are getting closer to returning from injury, but none of them will play against the Oilers.
