LAS VEGAS - Brayden Schenn will return to the lineup Friday night in Vegas after missing four games with an upper-body injury.
For the first time as a Blue, Schenn will play on the wing - with linemates he's also never played with before - Robby Fabbri and Tyler Bozak.

"It's never fun sitting out, so I'm looking forward to getting back out there and helping the team," Schenn said after Friday's morning skate. "With 'Bozie' and 'Fabbs', those are two guys that play hard, play the right way. The three of us are going to talk, read off each other and try to create speed through the neutral zone. We feel like we can be a good line."
"Excited to have him back," Blues Head Coach Mike Yeo said of Schenn. "The last couple games, not scoring a lot of goals - 'Schenner' bring a lot of things to the table, but certainly he finds a way night in and night out to generate offense and create scoring opportunities."

Schenn comments on returning to the lineup

Alexander Steen won't play in Friday's game against Vegas - he is day-to-day with an upper-body injury. The Blues will get Sammy Blais back in the lineup, though.
Blais was recalled from the San Antonio Rampage on Thursday, where he has scored two goals in nine games.
"I like the way the lines look," Yeo added. "I think we're going to have good energy, good depth and a good mix right now."
