ST. LOUIS - Help is on the way.
Alexander Steen, who has missed 13 games (seven preseason, six regular season) with a hand injury he sustained in the Blues' first preseason game on Sept. 19, will be back in the lineup tonight when the Blues meet the Chicago Blackhawks at 7 p.m. (NBCSN, NBC Sports App, KMOX).
"It's a perfect game to come back in. Atmosphere will be electric as usual against these guys," Steen said. "High pace. It's a good game for me to get right back into it."

Blues Head Coach Mike Yeo said Steen would begin tonight's game alongside Paul Stastny and Vladimir Tarasenko.
"We've been waiting for this for a little while," Yeo said. "He's done everything that he could to get back as quickly as he can. Conditioning-wise, his work ethic has been outstanding. A really good leader for us, and a competitor. He impacts our game in a lot of different ways: special teams, leadership will be big for us, and one of our more vocal players, especially in certain situations where you need that voice and more importantly, you need someone to go out and show the way."

"It's huge," added Kyle Brodziak. "He brings not only the ice stuff that everybody sees every night, but great leadership quality in the room. He's been around a long time, he's a calming presence, everybody around the room looks up to him as a leader. He'll be a very welcome addition back to the lineup."
So, with Steen on the top line, what will the rest of the lineup look like?
The Blues held an optional skate Wednesday, so while we can't say for sure, here is what the lineup might look like based on Tuesday's team practice at St. Louis Outlet Mall.
