7:18 p.m. update: Pavel Buchnevich appears to be in the lineup based on pregame warm-ups. The projected lineup below has been updated to reflect the changes.

There’s a chance that Pavel Buchnevich will be back in the lineup Tuesday when the Blues begin a four-game road trip in Winnipeg.

The game begins at 7:45 p.m. CT (Bally Sports, 101 ESPN).

Buchnevich sustained an upper-body injury in the first period of a 2-1 shootout win against the Seattle Kraken on Oct. 12. He has missed two games due to the injury, but Blues Head Coach Craig Berube said Buchnevich would be a game-time decision on Tuesday.

If he does play, Berube said he would not return to the first line, which currently consists of Brandon Saad, Robert Thomas and Jordan Kyrou. Those three players recorded five points (two goals, three assists) in a 4-2 win against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday and Berube said there's no reason to disrupt it.

The team held an optional morning skate Tuesday in Winnipeg, so the projected lineup below assumes that Buchnevich could slot into the second line with Brayden Schenn and Kasperi Kapanen, bumping Jake Neighbours to the fourth line.

The lineup will be updated during pregame warm-ups once confirmed.
