Blues Head Coach Craig Berube looks to be tinkering with his lines a bit as he deals with injuries to Pavel Buchnevich (lower-body) and Brandon Saad (upper-body), both of which aren't expected to be in the lineup Wednesday when the team begins a stretch of three games in four nights.
On Tuesday, Berube moved Ivan Barbashev up to the top line with Ryan O'Reilly and Jordan Kyrou. That move cleared space for Brayden Schenn to join a line with Robert Thomas and Vladimir Tarasenko to round out the Top-6.

"Just experimenting a bit today. We'll see about (Wednesday's game)," Berube said. "I felt with 10 and 18 and 91 (Schenn, Thomas and Tarasenko), they did a lot of good things in the Edmonton game (on Saturday). Just trying to find some chemistry a little bit right now. With guys out, I'm trying to find some chemistry."
Berube will also have Tyler Pitlick available as an option for Wednesday's game.
Pitlick, who joined training camp as a professional tryout, signed a one-year deal with the club
on Tuesday after Buchnevich was placed on injured reserve. Pitlick has played in eight NHL seasons, recording 89 points (48 goals, 41 assists) in 325 regular-season games.
"I just think the way I play the game fits in with the team," Pitlick said. "We think they want a guy that's going to go north and be physical and get on forechecks and just bring that energy every night. I think I can do that to help the team."
On Tuesday, Pitlick was rotating with Jake Neighbours on a line with Logan Brown and Josh Leivo.
The Blues held an optional morning skate before Wednesday's matchup with the Edmonton Oilers (7 p.m., BSMW, 101 ESPN), so the projected lineup below is based on Tuesday's team practice. It will be updated during pre-game warm-ups if changes are made.
