Currently in his second season with the Blues, Saad was originally signed as a free agent on July 29, 2021.

The Calgary, Alberta, native has also made 23 appearances for the Thunderbirds, recording 16 points (nine goals, seven assists) and two penalty minutes. Neighbours was drafted by the Blues in the first round, 26th overall, of the 2020 NHL Draft.
