ST. LOUIS - Brandon Saad is back in St. Louis and skated Saturday for the first time since being placed in the NHL's COVID-19 protocols on Oct. 21.
Saad skated on his own before the rest of the team took the ice for the morning skate but will not play Saturday against the Chicago Blackhawks.

"He's cleared, and he'll skate for the next few days," Blues Head Coach Craig Berube said. "Hopefully he'll be back (Wednesday in Los Angeles). We've missed him, we're looking forward to getting him back in the lineup."
Saad, 28, signed a five-year contract with the Blues in the offseason.
In three games this season, Saad has registered one goal and one assist.
