Scandella blocked a shot in the second period of the April 1 game against the Nashville Predators and did not return. He had 10 minutes and 28 seconds of ice time in the contest.
Blues Head Coach Craig Berube announced Tuesday that Scandella wouldn't play in any of the team's remaining games.
The 33-year-old defenseman missed the first half of the season recovering from a hip injury. He played in 20 games in 2022-23, recording one goal, one assist and plus-2 rating.
