ST. LOUIS - Brayden Schenn has been named the NHL's Third Star for the month of November, joining Colorado's Nathan MacKinnon and Toronto's Frederik Andersen in receiving the honor.
Schenn posted the most productive month of his NHL career, scoring seven goals and 12 assists (19 points) in 12 games. He played in four games in which he posted three or more points and also posted a plus-10 rating for the month.

"He's been great for us. He's been everything we could have hoped for and more," Blues Head Coach Mike Yeo said. "He had a great month. It's not just the offense that he's bringing, it's his defensively play (too). You put him out there to kill a penalty and he does a great job with that. Personality wise, character wise, he just fits with our group. He's a real quality person and hockey player and we're lucky to have him."
Through 25 games this season, Schenn ranks seventh overall in the NHL with 30 points. He also ranks first in plus/minus with a plus-19 rating.
This marks the second consecutive month that a member of the Blues has received the League's Star of the Month honor. Jaden Schwartz was named the NHL Third Star for the month of October after recording 17 points in his first 13 games.
