Jaden Schwartz and Tyler Bozak chose to share their day with the Stanley Cup not just with each other, but with the entire city of Regina by bringing it to the Saskatchewan Legislative Building on Saturday.
Both players visited Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe at his office before planting a St. Louis Blues flag on the building and addressing a large crowd from the balcony.
"It's something we dream about our whole lives and it's pretty surreal," Bozak told the crowd of onlookers about winning the Stanley Cup and bringing it home to Saskatchewan. "It still is surreal."
Schwartz and Bozak then brought the Stanley Cup to the crowd, many of which had been waiting in line more than four hours to get a glimpse of it.
Prior to visiting the Legislative Building, Schwartz and Bozak visited with hospitalized children at Regina General Hospital.
