ST. LOUIS - Blues Head Coach Mike Yeo said he doesn't expect Jaden Schwartz to be back in the lineup Tuesday when the Blues host the Ottawa Senators, but…
"He's getting a lot closer," Yeo said. "Medically he's cleared and he's ready. It's just a matter of making sure conditioning-wise and timing-wise that when he gets in, he feels ready."

Schwartz has been out of the lineup since sustaining an ankle injury in the first period of a 6-1 win on Dec. 9 in Detroit. Schwartz has posted 35 points (14 goals, 21 assists) in 30 games this season, which still ranks third on the club despite his 19-game absence.
"You don't just evaluate Schwartzy's game on goals and assists. It's his work ethic, it's his tenacity that is infectious to the rest of the group," Yeo said. "It's the way he kills penalties, the way he plays against top players, the momentum that he brings. We can't sit here and say we expect him to be completely on top of his game and playing at the level he was earlier (when he returns), but I wouldn't be surprised (if he did), either.
"He's a player where his work ethic and his relentlessness puts him in a lot of really good positions."
