The St. Louis Blues have signed defenseman Scott Perunovich to a one-year, one-way contract extension worth $775,000.
Perunovich played in 22 regular-season games with the AHL-affiliate Springfield Thunderbirds last season, posting two goals and 18 assists (20 points) along with a plus-3 rating.
He also registered one goal and seven assists (eight points) to go along with a plus-6 rating in 10 games with the USA World Championship team last month.
Overall, Perunovich has played in 19 career NHL games, posting six assists. He was drafted by the Blues in the second round (No. 45 overall) in the 2018 NHL Draft.
