Heading into the fifth game of the seven-game homestand, Blues Head Coach Craig Berube is opting for a bit of a line scramble.
"I just wasn't seeing enough out of [the first two lines]," Berube said. "I think with Saader, he's more direct... I need a guy around that's going to get in there more on the forecheck, drive pucks deep, simplify the game a little bit."

Putting Brandon Saad on the first line would push Pavel Buchnevich down to the second, a move forward Brayden Schenn thinks could provide some new energy.
"The past three or four games, my line and Thommer's line haven't been consistent enough," Schenn said. "So by shaking things up, hopefully it gives all of us a chance to get it going a little bit. It's a chance for myself to get it going and hopefully develop a little chemistry with Jake and Buchy."
With Jake Neighbours skating on the second line, he will continue to be relied upon to create offense.
"[Neighbours] is gonna get in there and battle down low and work," Berube said. "He's going to be around the net. He's competitive on pucks."
Through all of the changes, Jordan Kyrou and Robert Thomas are expected to keep their spots on the top line. Together, they combine for seven points through the current homestand.
The new lines will face a skilled Nashville Predators team Thursday night, as the Blues look to add another two points to their win total.
Following morning skate, Berube confirmed Nathan Walker in for Nikita Alexandrov. With that exception, here is the projected lineup based on Wednesday's practice at Centene Community Ice Center:
