Sundqvist activated from injured reserve

ST. LOUIS - Oskar Sundqvist has been activated from injured reserve after missing eight regular-season games with an upper-body injury.
Sundqvist was injured after being hit by Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson in the team's final preseason game on Oct. 30, is looking forward to making his return. Wilson was suspended for 20 games as a result of the hit.

"I feel good enough to start playing, and I'm really excited to be back there on the ice," Sundqvist said. "Everything is good. I'm just excited to get out there tonight and play hockey again."
"Obviously (it was) a really tough injury, but he had a really strong training camp for us," Blues Head Coach Mike Yeo said of Sundqvist. "For me, last year was his first year in the League as far as spending the majority of the year in the League. He's another young guy for us coming in. To me, what he looked like in training camp this year, number one, he looked like he was faster and two, he looked like he was ready to take another step as a player… he looked like he was ready to really come in and demand a spot."
Sundqvist will be in the lineup when the Blues meet the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday.
