ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the team has activated defenseman Torey Krug and forward Vladimir Tarasenko from injured reserve.
Krug has missed the past 13 games due to a lower-body injury while Tarasenko has been sidelined for 10 games with a hand injury.
In addition, the Blues placed forward Pavel Buchnevich on IR after undergoing a minor surgical procedure to address an infection to his ankle at the site of a contusion suffered earlier in the season.
Buchnevich will be re-evaluated after the All-Star Break.

Krug, 31, has collected 17 points (five goals, 12 assists) and 13 penalty minutes in 31 games with the Blues this season. Currently in his third season with the team, the Livonia, Michigan, native was signed by the Blues as a free agent on Oct. 9, 2020. Overall, he has recorded 429 points (83 goals, 346 assists) and 306 penalty minutes in 669 career NHL regular-season games.
Tarasenko, 31, has dressed in 34 games this season, posting 29 points (10 goals, 19 assists) and eight penalty minutes. Drafted by the Blues 16th overall in 2010, the Yaroslavl, Russia, native has amassed 553 points (262 goals, 291 assists) and 185 penalty minutes across 640 regular-season games with the team.
Buchnevich, 27, has dressed in 38 games with the Blues this season, posting 38 points (15 goals, 23 assists) and 20 penalty minutes. Currently in his second year with the team, the Cherepovets, Russia, native was acquired by the Blues via trade from the New York Rangers on July 23, 2021. Overall, Buchnevich has recorded 309 points (124 goals, 185 assists) and 166 penalty minutes in 412 career NHL regular-season games.
