Tarasenko missed two games with an upper-body injury he sustained in the first period of the March 17 game against the New York Rangers.
He skated in an optional practice at the team's practice facility on Thursday and was on the ice with the team again for Friday's morning skate.
"It was hard (being out) and sometimes exciting too because guys did a really good job," Tarasenko said after Friday's morning skate. "It's been awhile since I missed a game, so it was a weird feeling but now I feel good and ready to help the team."
Tarasenko leads the Blues in goals (27) and ranks second in points (58) in 71 games this season.
