ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the team has recalled forward Nathan Walker from its AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds, under emergency conditions.
Walker, 28, has dressed in 47 games with the Thunderbirds this season, sharing the team lead with 19 goals and ranking third with 44 points overall. The Cardiff, Wales native has also made nine appearances with the Blues, collecting five points (four goals, one assist). Overall, Walker has posted 10 points (seven goals, three assists) and 14 penalty minutes in 34 career NHL regular-season games.
