Blues Hall of Fame Class of 2023

Dan Kelly served as the voice of the Blues for 21 seasons, beginning with the 1968-69 campaign. While with the organization, Kelly grew to be one of the most iconic and recognizable broadcasters in the world. He was responsible for introducing hockey to St. Louis and fostering the education and passion of countless Blues fans.

  • Play-by-play announcer for CTV at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary
  • Recipient of the Lester Patrick Award in 1989 for contributions to ice hockey in the United States
  • His son, John, joined him in the broadcast booth for his final game in 1988 and has called Blues TV broadcasts since 2005.
