The Boston Bruins announced today that the team has made the following changes and additions to its hockey operations staff:
Dean Malkoc: Pro Scout
Dean Malkoc enters his 20th season in the Bruins organization after most recently serving as Associate Director of Amateur Scouting, a role he held since August 2022. He previously was an amateur scout for the Bruins. The Vancouver native played 11 professional seasons in the NHL, AHL and IHL level, including four NHL seasons with Vancouver, Boston (73 games from 1996-97 to 1997-98) and NY Islanders.
Josh Pohlkamp-Hartt: Director of Hockey Analytics
Josh Pohlkamp-Hartt enters his eighth season with the Boston Bruins and spent three seasons as Associate Director of Hockey Analytics from 2023-26. He joined the organization as a Data Scientist in 2019 and develops metrics and models that support all areas of hockey operations, from draft prospect evaluation to in-game strategy. Pohlkamp-Hartt earned a doctorate in applied statistics from Queen’s University.
Cam Wolbach: Team Operations and Video Coordinator, Providence
Cam Wolbach enters his second season with the Bruins organization after serving as Providence's Video Coordinator during the 2025-26 season. Prior to joining the Bruins, he spent five seasons at Boston College as Assistant Director of Hockey Operations. The South Groveland, Massachusetts native earned his Master of Business Administration from Boston College in May 2025.
Kyle Chauvette: Emergency Backup Goaltender and Video Scout
Kyle Chauvette joins the Bruins under the NHL's updated Collective Bargaining Agreement, which requires each team to designate a full-time Emergency Backup Goaltender (EBUG) who will travel with the club for all home and away games during the 2026-27 season. Chauvette spent the 2025-26 NCAA season at the University of New Hampshire, appearing in 34 games and posting a 2.63 goals against average and a .902 save percentage. He previously spent three seasons at Union College (2022-25) before transferring to New Hampshire. Chauvette is currently pursuing a master's degree in finance at Bentley University. He earned his bachelor's degree in economics from the University of New Hampshire in May 2026.
Josh Cooper: Amateur Scout, OHL
Josh Cooper enters his first season with the Bruins after spending two years as a scout for the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Cooper previously worked with the Toronto Titans U16 team of the Greater Toronto Hockey League during the 2024-25 season.
Leland Mack: Amateur Scout, WHL
Leland Mack enters his first season with the Bruins after serving as Director of Scouting for the Prince George Cougars of the Western Hockey League (WHL) during the 2025-26 season. He previously spent six seasons as a scout with the organization. Prior to joining Prince George, Mack spent 10 seasons scouting for the Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL).
Aidan Matthews: Team Services and Operations Specialist
Aidan Matthews enters her first season with the Bruins after most recently serving as a Baseball Operations Administrative Assistant for the Savannah Bananas, where she supported team logistics, scheduling and baseball operations activities. Prior to that, she was a Baseball Operations Intern with the Tacoma Rainiers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. Matthews earned a bachelor's degree in Sport Management from Washington State University, where she held several roles within the athletic department, including positions supporting the school's football and basketball programs.
Benjamin Snyder: Assistant Video Coordinator, Providence
Benjamin Snyder enters his first season with the Bruins after serving as a Student Manager for the University of Connecticut's men's hockey team. He also served as an Assistant Coach for the Northeast Generals junior hockey team out of Attleboro, Massachusetts in the North American Hockey League (NAHL). He graduated from UConn with his bachelor’s in sport management in May 2026.
Amanda Feldman: Team Dietitian
Amanda Feldman is a registered dietitian entering her first season with the Bruins after serving as the sports dietitian for the Boston Fleet (PWHL) for the past three seasons (2023-26). She has also worked as a sports dietitian at Boston University since October 2025 and has been a performance nutrition coach with Fuel Forward since 2023. Prior to those roles, Feldman completed internships with the athletic programs at Florida State University and Boston College. She earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Boston University before receiving her master's in Dietetics.
