The winner will advance to the Eastern Conference Second Round and play the Toronto Maple Leafs or Tampa Bay Lightning. Toronto leads that best-of-7 series heading into Game 6 at Amalie Arena in Tampa on Saturday.
The Panthers won 7-5 in Game 6 in Florida on Friday to even the best-of-7 series after trailing 3-1.

Patrice Bergeron has played 13 Game 7s, the most for Boston, and is 6-7. He has 11 points (six goals, five assists). David Krejci has played 11 Game 7s (6-5) and has 10 assists. Brad Marchand has played 10 (6-4) and has seven points (three goals, four assists).
Jeremy Swayman lost his only Game 7, 3-2 against the Hurricanes last season. Linus Ullmark has not played a Game 7.
Bruins coach Jim Montgomery is 0-1 in Game 7.
"It's been a hard series so it's going to be another hot game," Boston forward David Pastrnak said. "We've been prepping for this kind of game the whole season long, so we have to be excited to play these kind of games and recognize every childhood dream is to play a Game 7."
Florida is 1-1 in Game 7, having defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-1 on the road in the 1996 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals before a 3-2 loss to the New Jersey Devils 3-2 in double overtime in the 2012 Conference Quarterfinals.
Four skaters who have played for the Panthers this postseason have played a Game 7, led by Marc Staal, who is 5-2, and Eric Staal, who is 5-0. Matthew Tkachuk and Brandon Montour are each 1-0.
Goalies Sergei Bobrovsky and Alex Lyon have not played a Game 7.
Maurice is 3-0 in Game 7.
There were five Game 7s in the 2022 first round, with the home team winning four of them.
"It shows the heart and the passion we have in this locker room," Florida forward Anthony Duclair said. "Down 3-1, we believed that we can come back and now we did. Now we've just got to finish the job.
"It's going to be the toughest task here so far. We've had the Game 7 mentality for three games now. It's no different coming in Sunday."
