Following Team McDavid’s 4-3 comeback win in the shootout, Suzuki and co. faced Team Matthews in the final. The latter defeated Team Hughes 6-5 (SO) to reach the ultimate round.

The Canadiens captain set up Boone Jenner to even the score at one-a-piece in the first half of the game.

Nick Suzuki earns his third assist of the day

Win or lose, it’s always special to be an All-Star, and the Canadiens captain got to enjoy his third stint in his home province.

Suzuki landed in Ontario's capital just in time for the NHL All-Star Player Draft and made his case to each celebrity captain.

It seems like he was convincing enough to charm Canadian actor Will Arnett and Team McDavid into selecting him in the eighth round.

The centerman also met many adoring fans at the All-Star red carpet event earlier in the day.

On Friday, the London, Ontario native made a quick stop on the CN Tower to take in a special view... but not of The Six.

It felt all too familiar...

Suzuki finally cashed in on the year’s-worth of Chipotle he won at the 2023 NHL All-Star Pitch’n’Puck event sponsored by the fast-food chain.

Back to present day, the 24-year-old arrived in style for the final day of All-Star activities.

He got to chitchat with a pair of captains, including Connor McDavid...

...and celebrity captain Arnett.

A group photo with his teammates for the weekend was a must.

And then it was time to play some hockey – what more can you ask for?

With his third NHL All-Star appearance in the books, it’s time for Suzuki to return home to Montreal and rejoin his teammates.

The Maple Leafs and the city of Toronto put on a great show, but we’re excited to have our Hab back in the 514.
