MONTREAL - The Montreal Canadiens today announced that Bell will be the team's corporate partner identified on player helmets for the 2020-21 season, the first official helmet sponsorship by a Canadian company.

The season-long sponsorship will see the Canadiens sport a Bell logo on the left and right sides of their helmets for home and away games and practices. This new partnership is just the latest show of support from Bell in their longstanding relationship with the Canadiens, which includes the naming rights for the team's home arena, the Bell Centre.
"The Canadiens are appreciative of the team's partnership with Bell, and for their unwavering support through what has been and will continue to be a challenging landscape for many industries, including ours," said Canadiens executive vice president and chief commercial officer, France Margaret Bélanger. "The Canadiens' uniforms are a symbol of history and tradition, and we believe the Bell logo will fit in seamlessly on the team's helmets. We would also like to recognize the work the NHL has done to provide innovative solutions and new sponsorship opportunities for the 2020-21 season."
"Bell is proud to step up as the official helmet sponsor for our long-time partners the Montreal Canadiens," said Karine Moses, President, Bell Media Québec. "We are honoured that Bell's name will appear alongside the Canadiens' iconic CH logo as we look forward to an exciting 2020-21 season."
