After selecting Juraj Slafkovsky with the first-overall pick on Thursday night, Kent Hughes continued a busy evening of work, brokering a three-team trade between the Canadiens, Islanders, and Blackhawks that saw Alexander Romanov and the 98th overall pick head to New York for the 13th overall pick, before shipping the 13th pick and pick No. 66 in 2022 to Chicago in exchange for Kirby Dach. Here are a few highlights, by the numbers, of Dach's NHL career so far.

3- Kirby Dach was a third-overall selection by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2019, when he was picked behind Jack Hughes and Kappo Kakko.
6'4" - Standing 6-foot-4, the imposing centerman immediately became the tallest player on the Canadiens roster when he was traded from the Hawks on Thursday night.
