MONTREAL - Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes announced today that the team acquired defenseman Frédéric Allard from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for forward Nate Schnarr.
Allard, 25, scored two goals and added five assists in 35 games with the Ontario Reign in the AHL so far this season. The Saint-Sauveur, QC native was drafted in the third round (78th overall) by the Nashville Predators in 2016.
