MONTREAL - Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin, announced Friday that the team has agreed to terms on a three-year, entry level contract (2017-18 to 2019-20) with forward Jeremiah Addison.

In 51 regular season games with the OHL's Windsor Spitfires in 2016-17, the 5'11'' and 184 lbs forward collected 43 points (24 goals, 19 assists). Addison ranks third on the team in goals, tied for third in assists, tied for second in penalty minutes (62) and fifth in shots (140). Five of his goals were scored on the powerplay, one while shorthanded, and he added four game-winning tallies.
A native of Brampton, Ontario, Addison has amassed 179 points (83 goals, 96 assists) in 309 regular season games since making his junior debut with Saginaw in 2012-13. Having also suited up for the Ottawa 67's he has scored 20 powerplay goals, three while shorthanded, 11 game-winning goals and has served 279 penalty minutes. Addison added 13 points (7 goals, 6 assists) in 19 playoffs contests.
The 20-year old forward was selected in the seventh round, 207th overall by the Canadiens at the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
