NASHVILLE -- The Canadiens called up defenseman Jakub Jerabek from the AHL's Laval Rocket on Wednesday morning.
In 17 games with Laval this season, the Czech rearguard has registered a goal and 10 assists totalling 11 points. He's second among Rocket point-getters so far this year, and 10th league-wide in the AHL. Acquired by the Canadiens in May, Wednesday's NHL call-up is the first for Jerabek in his career. He will join the team in Nashville.
