MONTREAL -- The Canadiens claimed center Logan Shaw off waivers on Monday.
Shaw played 42 games with the Anaheim Ducks this season, registering a pair of goals and six assists for eight points, along with a minus-2 differential and four penalty minutes. The 25-year-old, a native of Glace Bay, NS, has played 150 career NHL games (10G-15A). The 6-foot-3, 208-pounder was a third-round pick - 76th overall - by the Florida Panthers in 2011.
