Caufield, 20, had been assigned to the Habs' minor-league affiliate on November 1. In six games with the Rocket, Caufield has five points (2G, 3A). The rookie winger had amassed one point (an assist) in 10 games before being sent down to Laval.
The Habs also announced that forward Alex Belzile has been reassigned to the Rocket. The Riviere-du-Loup native went pointless in eight games for Montreal in November.
