That earned the Huskies a spot in the title game on Monday, February 11 against Boston College after the Eagles eliminated Harvard University in the other semi-final.
"We knew we weren't leaving this building without a win, so that was the message going through the locker room," said Primeau, regarding the Huskies' mindset heading into OT. "Everyone was just trying to stay positive and have as much confidence as possible going into it because we knew we were going to come out on top."
Primeau, who claimed the Eberly Award last year as the goaltender with the tournament's best save percentage, boasts an impressive 14-7-1 record so far this season, along with a 2.36 goals-against average, a .922 save percentage and three shutouts.
