MONTREAL - Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes announced today that forward Christian Dvorak underwent season-ending knee surgery today in New York (Hospital for Special Surgery).

The procedure was performed by Dr. Robert Marx and a full recovery is expected before the start of next season.
The 27-year-old forward tallied 10 goals and added 18 assists in 64 games this season. Dvorak recorded his 200th NHL point on February 12 against the Edmonton Oilers.
