RBC-Scavenger-Hunt

MONTREAL - It's safe to say the Canadiens are treasured by the citizens living in the metropolis they all call home.

So, earlier this month, with the Canadiens celebrating their 113th birthday and the holiday season on the horizon, the team and RBC decided to mark both occasions by holding a treasure hunt around the city, where five lucky fans would walk away with a brand-new Habs jersey.
RBC, the Club's inaugural sponsor of the home jersey, tasked Youppi! with scouting locations across Montreal as well as hiding the jerseys on December 7, the day of the big hunt.

The Canadiens posted clues as to the whereabouts of the hidden treasures, and Montrealers proved once again they are both passionate about their hockey team and knowledgeable about their city; all five prizes were found within 20 minutes of the beginning of the scavenger hunt.
Enthusiastic Habs fans didn't let a little gloomy weather and some rain ruin their fun either, as they quickly snapped up the blue boxes at the five locations - Canadiens Plaza outside the Bell Centre, the Old Port, Place Ville Marie, Mount Royal, and the Lachine Canal - in spite of the grey skies above.
The treasure hunt was emblematic of RBC's mission to make the jersey more accessible to Canadiens supporters, and grow the game in Quebec, in the midst of the first year of a multi-year partnership agreement that has seen the RBC shield sewn on Montreal's home jerseys since the start of the 2022-23 season.
