MONTREAL – Forty games down with 42 to go, and the Habs are near the playoff line heading into the midpoint of the season.

Friday’s game in Washington will officially mark the halfway point of the campaign, and on Wednesday Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes will address the media regarding the year so far.

Fans can tune in live on the team's online platforms at approximately 11:30 a.m. on January 8. The press conference will be streamed on YouTube, Facebook and X, and will also be available to watch on demand on canadiens.com.
