BROSSARD -- Several players won't be participating in Thursday's practice sessions at the Bell Sports Complex.
Five players failed their respective training camp medicals due to injury, including forwards Paul Byron (hip), Mike Hoffman (lower-body) and Joel Teasdale (knee), defenseman Josh Brook (knee), and goaltender Carey Price (knee). All are most likely out for the remainder of camp. Meanwhile, defenseman Joel Edmundson is listed as day-to-day. Right-winger Brendan Gallagher is absent for family reasons. He is expected to report to camp in the coming days.
