Allen was selected first star of the game twice (on December 1st in Calgary and on December 12 against Calgary), second star of the game once (on December 6 in Seattle), and third star of the game once (on December 21 in Colorado). He finished ahead of teammate Cole Caufield.
In 11 games in December, the 32-year-old compiled a 3-7-1 record, while posting a 3.45 goals-against average and a .899 save percentage. Allen set a season-high with 46 saves in a 2-1 win on December 1 in Calgary.
A ceremony honoring the December Molson Cup winner will take place ahead of tonight's game against the New York Rangers at the Bell Centre.
