BROSSARD - The Canadiens were back on Zoom to field questions from the media following Day 3 of training camp.

From the division of labor in the Fleury-Suzuki household to KK's new clapper, read a selection of the best quotes of the day below.

Phillip Danault on seeing Jesperi Kotkaniemi back with the Habs:

I can tell you his shot is really devastating. He got a little tougher, a little bigger. He obviously gained some maturity out there. I've only seen him for three practices - I need to see him in a game situation - but I like what I see so far.

Phillip Danault on Day 3 of Phase 3

Phillip Danault on facing Sidney Crosby in the Qualifying Round:

I'm going to prepare the same way I prepare for every game during the season. I play against big lines - it's my role - and I take pride in that. We take pride in it as a line, and as a team too. I know Crosby is a really good player offensively and defensively - he's a two way-forward. It's going to be a big challenge - probably one of the biggest challenges of my career so far - and I'm going to embrace it. It's going to be fun.

Cayden Primeau on having four goaltenders at training camp:

You don't get as many shots, so you have to make sure that when you're in the net it counts. You get more time to rest, so when you're in the net you can push that extra bit. You have to make sure you're working over 100% every time, to try to make an impression.

Cayden Primeau on North American sports beginning to return:

I think everyone was missing sports, so the fact that they're starting to come back slowly has everyone paying more attention. I think it's great. Honestly, being on this side of things and understanding what [the MLS and NBA] are going through, makes me respect what they're doing so much more. It's exciting and it's great to have sports back.

Cale Fleury on passing time away from the rink:

I'm currently living with Nick Suzuki, so we've been hanging out a lot. We've got some board games at the house, and we're watching a lot of TV. We were actually watching a couple of our old games the other day, too. We're pretty 50-50 with [the cooking], but I like to think I have a little bit more skills than Nick in the kitchen.

Claude Julien on having Noah Juulsen back on the ice:

He's a player who has missed a lot of time. I believe he was just starting to play again when everything went on pause. I see a lot of potential in Noah Juulsen. Unfortunately, his development was delayed a bit because of that injury he suffered two years ago. What I like about him at the moment is that he's able to keep the rhythm at practice. He looks confident, and he looks like he's having fun on the ice. For a guy who has faced that kind of adversity, I like the direction he's going in.

Claude Julien on Day 3 of Phase 3

Claude Julien on determining the back-up role:

We have lots of time to decide on the back-up goaltender. In a way, we hope that we never have to use [our back-up], and that Carey is going to deliver and carry us a long way. What I can tell you right now is - having spoken with Stephane [Waite] - all three goaltenders behind Carey are practicing extremely hard right now. And all three of them are looking good, so I think we've got a really nice problem right now.
