Juraj Slafkovsky out with upper-body injury

The rookie winger is day-to-day

MONTREAL -- The Canadiens announced on Saturday that forward Juraj Slafkovsky is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

The 18-year-old Slovak won't play against the Stars.
Slafkovsky enjoyed a memorable performance in Thursday night's win over the Coyotes, scoring his first NHL goal.

The Kosice native has appeared in five games for Montreal this season.
He was selected first overall in the 2022 NHL Draft.
