Lines and defense pairings at morning skate - Dec. 7

MONTREAL – The Canadiens held a morning skate on Saturday ahead of their game against the Washington Capitals at the Bell Centre.

Twenty-two players, including Kaiden Guhle who was absent from Thursday’s lineup due to illness, participated.

Here's the projected lineup for tonight’s game against the Caps:

Justin Barron and Michael Pezzetta skated as extras.

Guhle will return to the lineup, while Samuel Montembeault, who earned his third shutout of the season on Thursday in a 3-0 win over the Nashville Predators, will be between the pipes.

Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET, but fans attending tonight’s contest are encouraged to arrive early to take advantage of FANatic Saturdays activities that begin as of 4:30 p.m. at Les Trois Monkeys, located near the Bell Centre. For tickets to the game, click here.
