MONTREAL – The Canadiens held a morning skate on Saturday ahead of their game against the Washington Capitals at the Bell Centre.

Twenty-two players, including Kaiden Guhle who was absent from Thursday’s lineup due to illness, participated.

Justin Barron and Michael Pezzetta skated as extras.

Guhle will return to the lineup, while Samuel Montembeault, who earned his third shutout of the season on Thursday in a 3-0 win over the Nashville Predators, will be between the pipes.
