Logan Mailloux assigned to London Knights

The defenseman signed an entry-level contract a week ago

DETROIT -- The Canadiens assigned defenseman Logan Mailloux to the OHL's London Knights on Thursday.

The 19-year-old signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Canadiens on Oct. 5, and had been practicing with the Habs this month while recovering from a shoulder injury.
Mailloux had nine points (3G-6A) in 12 games with London in the OHL last season. He was selected 31st overall in the 2021 NHL Draft.
