COLEFONSTAD

MONTREAL - Here's a quick look at the progress a few Canadiens prospects are making with their respective clubs so far this season.

Cole Fonstad

FONSTAD

A fifth-round selection of the Canadiens, 128th overall in 2018, Fonstad is on a hot streak right now
The 18-year-old centerman has seven points in his last three games.
Fonstad, who is currently a member of the WHL's Prince Albert Raiders, also has three game-winning goals. He is just one game-winning marker away from matching his single-season high.

Fonstad has 30 points in 34 games this season, but half of his points have come in the last 10 games.

It's clear to see that the Habs' hopeful has hit his stride since the end of November.
Scott Walford

WALFORD

The Victoria Royals' rearguard is riding a four-game point streak. Walford has seven points, including one goal, during that span.
He had his most productive game on December 11 when he collected four assists against the Portland Winterhawks.

A third-round selection of the Canadiens, 68th overall in 2017, Walford boasts 18 points in 28 games this season.
Jesse Ylonen

YLONEN

The 18-year-old forward is having a good December with the Lahden Pelicans in the Finnish Elite League.
In six games since the start of December, Ylonen has three goals and six points.
A second-round pick of the Canadiens, 35th overall in 2018, Ylonen has eight goals and 13 points on the year.

The young Finn will represent his country at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship, which will run from December 26 to January 5 in Vancouver and Victoria.
