MONTREAL - Canadiens winger Joel Armia helped Finland to a convincing win over Hungary on Friday at the 2023 IIHF World Championship.

Here's a recap of his performance:

HUNGARY 1 - 7 FINLAND

The Hungarians managed only 13 shots to the Finns' 44, who scored five times in the final frame en route to their third triumph of the group stage.

Armia, who scored in his second game of the tournament on a splendid feed from Kaapo Kakko, returned the favor during the second period, serving a cross-crease pass on a platter for his linemate who tapped it into the Hungarian net.

With 59 seconds remaining in Friday's contest, the forward entered his name in the goal department, navigating through the neutral zone, before beating Bence Balizs glove side.

On top of a goal and an assist, Armia registered four shots on goal in 18:57 of ice time.
