MONTREAL -- Player development consultant Marie-Philip Poulin was inducted into the Boston University Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday.

Poulin, 31, became the women's ice hockey team's first-ever Hall of Fame inductee.
A four-year standout with the Terriers, she helped guide the program to three Hockey East Tournament titles, four trips to the NCAA Tournament, and national title game appearances in 2011 and 2013.
In 111 games, Poulin recorded 81 goals and 100 assists for 181 points, which ranked third all-time at BU at the time of her induction.

"My time at BU has truly shaped me into the person I am today. It allowed me to grow from a small-town girl into a big-city woman," said Poulin during the induction ceremony. "It taught me how to continually get back up after getting knocked down."
As a senior in 2015, Poulin was a First Team All-American and top-three finalist for the Patty Kazmaier Award as the top women's college hockey player. She also won her second Mildred Barnes Award that year as the top female athlete at BU.

"I can say with my whole heart that my time at BU was unforgettable because of the people in it and how they made me feel," added Poulin. "This school, this hockey program, these people, changed my life forever. Once a Terrier, always a Terrier."
The three-time Olympic gold medalist was hired by the Canadiens in June.
