Medical updates: Armia, Dach, Edmundson, Wideman

VOORHEES, NJ - The Canadiens issued the following medical updates on Thursday:

Forward Joel Armia left Tuesday's game in New Jersey because he wasn't feeling well. He will miss today's practice and his participation in Friday's game in Philadelphia is questionable. He is day to day.
Forward Kirby Dach won't join the team on the road in Philadelphia. Dach was earlier diagnosed with a non-covid related illness that has sidelined him since February 16. Through the course of further medical evaluation and testing, it was determined that the illness-like symptoms were related to a lower-body injury.
Defenseman Joel Edmundson's rehab is progressing well. The Club will provide a further update at the end of the week.
Defenseman Chris Wideman is sidelined with an upper-body injury. He is considered week-to-week.
