BROSSARD -- The Canadiens issued several medical updates before practice on Monday.

Joel Armia
Armia has an upper-body injury that will sideline him for 1 to 2 weeks.
Joel Edmundson
Edmundson's rehab for his lower-back injury is progressing, but there's still no timeline for his return. He skated before Monday's practice.
Emil Heineman
Heineman has a thumb injury that will sideline him for 6 weeks.
Mike Matheson
Matheson has a lower-body injury. His rehab is continuing and he's day-to-day.
For their part, Christian Dvorak, Mike Hoffman and Nick Suzuki all returned to practice from their respective injuries.
