Victor Mete to rejoin the Canadiens

The 19-year-old defenseman was given some time off to rest following the World Junior Hockey Championship

MONTREAL - Victor Mete will return to the Canadiens on Friday, January 12 and participate in the team's practice at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard.

Late this afternoon, general manager Marc Bergevin notified the 19-year-old defenseman that he'd be rejoining the club.
Mete was given some time off by the organization following Team Canada's gold medal run at the World Junior Hockey Championship in Buffalo.
The Woodbridge, ON native was loaned to the Canadian contingent for the annual tournament on December 11.
