Nick Suzuki on the team's reaction to the OT win:
"I think it gives us a lot of confidence. I think a lot of people didn't see us as contenders, so we want to show them that we can compete with anyone. This is a good first step, but we know they're going to bring their A-game next game and we've got to be ready for that."
Jeff Petry on the mindset going into Game 2:
"The guys bought in today. We've just got to focus on enjoying this one, but knowing that the next game is the biggest one."
Suzuki on being called on to kill off a 5-on-3 Penguins power play in the third period:
"I was pretty confident going in. I had two solid defenders who were with me and we talked a lot about their power play and what we want to try to do against them. I was confident going in. It was nice to get the confidence from the coach to trust me in that situation."
Petry on the importance of the team's penalty killers in snuffing out six of the Penguins' seven power plays in Game 1:
"That was a big key to our game, the penalty kill. We obviously want to limit the number of chances they get on the power play and we found a way to kill those off. Moving forward we just have to be a little more disciplined with our sticks and make sure we don't give them those opportunities because they're a talented group over there. The more chances we give them the more trouble I think we're going to get into. We just need to focus on playing a disciplined game."

Petry on Carey Price's impact in his 39-save effort:
"He made some really big saves and gave us that calming influence that Pricer's all about. He's calm and collected back there and especially when a team is in on the forecheck and controlling the play a little bit, when we have that calming influence from him back there, it settles everybody down."
