MONTREAL - For the second year in a row, Nick Suzuki is an NHL All-Star.

During the first intermission of Thursday night's action, the league unveiled the initial group of players named to the Atlantic Division roster, as selected by the department of hockey operations. Suzuki will be joined by forwards Nikita Kucherov, Matthew Tkachuk, Tage Thompson, Dylan Larkin, Mitch Marner, and Brady Tkachuk, as well as goaltender Linus Ullmark.
The nod marks the Habs captain's second career appearance at the mid-season event, which this year will take place on Feb. 3 and 4 at FLA Live Arena, the home of the Florida Panthers.

Nick Suzuki's 2022 NHL All-Star Weekend recap

Heading into Thursday's game, the 23-year-old had 32 points (15G-17A) in 38 games, good to lead Montreal as the team's top scorer.
In addition to his 2022 and now 2023 All-Star nominations, Suzuki was previously named to the NHL's All-Rookie Team in 2020.
Next up, it's time for fans to shape the remainder of the rosters when the All-Star Fan Vote opens at

as of 9:00 p.m. ET. A total of 12 spots will be decided by the ballots; that's two additional skaters and one goalie per division, meaning Habs fans can still send some local company Suzuki's way.
