The Piikkio, FIN native was a key contributor to the team's playoffs success, scoring three goals, including an overtime-winner, and adding one assist, to help the Canadiens reach the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since 1993.
Lehkonen was also the fifth-most utilized forward in the NHL playoffs with 37:06 of short-handed ice time, playing an important role on the League's top unit under those circumstances (91.8%) .
The 5-foot-11, 178-pound Finn has amassed 61 goals and 59 assists in 338 career NHL games, while serving 90 penalty minutes. Lehkonen added six goals and six assists in 33 career postseason games.
He was selected in the second round (55th overall) by the Canadiens in the 2013 NHL Draft.
